About me
From my first web project to agentic AI.
I started programming in a computer club at school in the early 1990s. Since then, I have combined work as a developer, technical lead and systems administrator, repeatedly turning new technology into practical systems.

Early 1990s
Starting at school
I began programming in a computer club at school. That early fascination with building things led to a degree in systems engineering and has stayed with me ever since.
1998 to 2002
Starting on the web
My first professional project was a billing system with a public website for the first internet provider in my city. Servers, networking and day-to-day operations were part of the job, so web development and infrastructure were connected from the beginning.
2002 to 2018
Development and operations
At IBA, I worked on international IBM projects, later led a department and took responsibility for a large software-repackaging project. In Hannover, I developed applications for financial-services clients, moved Notes applications to the web and spent many years operating servers, virtualisation, monitoring and security alongside development.
Since 2018
Modern fullstack platforms
My work centres on web platforms with .NET, C# and Vue: APIs, legacy integrations, data migrations, CI/CD, Clean Architecture and measurable performance improvements.
Today
AI-assisted development
Agentic AI is the next logical step for me. I introduce AI-assisted workflows in teams, work with coding agents every day and build my own MCP products and developer tools. I follow new technologies closely and like to test them early in practice when they offer real value for my work.
