This static website runs on a Hetzner server in Helsinki, Finland. Accessing it involves processing technically necessary access data, which may include the IP address, time, requested resource, HTTP status, referrer and browser information. Processing serves the secure and reliable delivery of the website and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies, web analytics, marketing pixels or embedded social-media widgets.

When you choose the light or dark theme, your browser stores the preference in localStorage as “yesafau-theme” to retain your chosen appearance on future visits. It is not sent to the server. The preference remains stored until you clear this website's data or your browser removes it. Choosing a different theme replaces the previous value.

4. Contact by email

If you contact me by email, the information you provide is processed to handle the enquiry. Depending on its content, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is responding to your message. The information is deleted when it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligation applies.

The mailbox for the email address shown on this website is hosted directly by Proton Mail. To receive, store and send messages, Proton processes data including sender and recipient addresses, message content and attachments. Proton Mail is provided by Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland. Further information is available in theProton Mail privacy policy.

Where personal data is transferred to Proton in Switzerland, the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for Switzerland under Article 45 GDPR.
